Mildred Ann Stairs, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 9, 2022, in Southaven, Ms. She was born to the Late Elijah and Margaret Ann Harris on March 6, 1932, In Lake Cormorant, MS. Mildred was a lifelong member of Fountainhead Methodist Church where she played piano for many years. Her greatest passions were spending time with her family and her cats. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings. She leaves behind a son, Allen Stairs (June); a sister-in-law, Suzanne Harris, Jimmy McKinney (Pat); brother-in-law, Cleves Stairs, and friend, Anthony Shorts. Mildred also leaves behind six grandchildren: April Spillers, Nici Flewelling, Amy McGuire (Tyler), Angie Walker (Phil), Wendy Waterman, Elizabeth Waterman, and five great grandchildren: Clara, Ryanne, Chloe, Bethany, and Joshua. The family request that memorial contributions be made Fountainhead Methodist Church. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 12, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 11:00 am at Fountainhead Methodist Church, 1617 Red Banks Rd S Byhalia, MS 38611.
