

Mildred D. Thompson, 80, died November 4, 2014 after a long illness. She retired from Thomas and Betts. She also had a second career with Reliant Pharmacy as a certified pharmacy technician. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Thompson; parents, Jesse and Bertha Davis; sisters, Naomi Meyers, Mable Chapman, Ruby Hughes and Ann Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Dodd; granddaughters, Stacey Pera (Lou) and Pam Breckwoldt (Reid); sister, Lee Knight; brothers, Marvin Davis and Jennings Davis (Anne) and sister-in-law Patricia Comella. She also leaves three great grandchildren: Evan Breckwoldt, Paige Breckwoldt and Charleigh Pera. During her last years she lived with her sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Skip Dunkin, who took loving care of her. Instrumental in that care were her nieces, Meagan Vogel and Lori Dunkin. Visitation will be Friday, November 7th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Graveside Services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 8th at Memorial Park Cemetery.
