Minnie Elizabeth Rutherford

Minnie Elizabeth Rutherford, 98, of Millington, TN passed away on July 23, 2022. Mrs. Rutherford was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Rutherford; son, Thomas Gerry Rutherford; and daughter, Dianne Rutherford Holifield. She is survived by her grandchildren: Jean Elizabeth Rolon, Dell Wade Rutherford, Robert Lee Rutherford II, David Holifield, Timothy Holifield, and Vicki Holifield; 6 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Yvonne James Jordan. Mrs. Rutherford was born on December 10, 1923 in Tippah Co., MS. She was a true homemaker who spent most of her life making sure her family was taken care of. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and was an amazing cook. One of her greatest joys in life was being “Granny” to her grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Little Hope Cemetery in Falkner, MS.
