Nancy Sue Holloway

Born on December 22, 1947, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, Nancy was the daughter of Frank B. Jones and Mary Katherine Jones. She was a member of Centerville Baptist Church.

Nancy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She had a passion for gardening and a talent for cooking. She especially loved flowers and took great pride in her beautiful garden, which she lovingly tended to over the years.

After many years of dedicated service, Nancy retired from Don Wagner Plastics, where she was known for her hard work.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank B. and Mary Katherine Jones; her sister, Alice Faye Worbington, and her granddaughter, Jessica Holloway Alkashgari.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry Wayne Holloway, Sr.; four children, Jerry Holloway (Ginger), James Holloway (Beth), Joey Holloway (Lynda), and Jennifer Hobson (Steven). She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren: Jaimee Kelley (Jody); Dana Holloway, Amber Wilson (Matt), Jenny Holloway, Janice Ayers (James), Lyndsay Holloway, Colby Holloway (Melody), Jillian Thompson (Logan), and Jonathan Traxler, Payton Hobson, and Alaina Hobson and five great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Centerville Cemetery in Greenwood, Ms.
