I can truly say Oscar was one of a kind , and took friendship very seriously.I remember those days at Hrms and kirby and numerous other schools were we joke and made the best out of every situation .It's so hard for me to grasp this though, My last time in Memphis I ran across you in midtown and we talked for a while and you told me a couple things you were going through and you were getting everything back on track .We sat and back and talked about cars for hours , that was your thing .You have your wings now man.....you will be missed homie ..foreal

I remember Oscar as a kind, funny, generous young man. When I met him I was struck by his dazzling smile and his determination to be someone in the world. He would tell me all his plans to start a business; he wanted to be a great man. He was ambitious and smart. He also wanted to find the love of a good woman, marry, and have children. He was a romantic at heart. He wanted a perfect love, and wanted to give his love his entire heart. Underneath his bright smile and funny facade was a deeply spiritual man who questioned the world around him, and wanted to learn about God. While I spent time with him, I got to see how deeply he searched for God in different places. He was not afraid to think and question the world. I could spend hours listening to him unravel the world. He was the type of person who would bring people under his wing and make them smile and encourage them to breath life into their dreams. He made me laugh so many times with his jokes and stories. One of the subjects of our conversations was his dream of owning a "Lambo" (Lamborgini Murcielago). He always went over the specs of this fabulous car with me, even though I didn't have the slightest idea of what he was talking about. But his energy was so contagious and the look in his eyes so bright, it was hard to stop listening. He was always respectful, considerate, loving and kind. My only wish is that I could have seen him one last time. I hope that in heaven he knows he was truly loved. The world is a little grayer, and the sun a little dimmer now that he has left. I will always remember him and keep him in my heart, thoughts and prayers.
