Peggy Sue Robbins

Peggy Sue Robbins, 80, of Southaven, MS passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022. Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by her parents, Goodloe and Myrtle Hughes; grandson, Shawn Harris; and siblings: Gerald Hughes, Tommy Hughes, Roger Hughes, and Jenny Robertson. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Dexter Robbins; daughter, Karen Parrish (Gary); son, Harry Robbins (Suellen); daughter, Phyllis Godsey (Frank); daughter, Trish Teuton; grandchildren: Austin Jones (Anna), Elizabeth Beyer, and Helen Williamson (Ryan); great-grandchildren: Ethan Jones, Chase Beyer, Toby Beyer, Bailey Beyer, Chance Williamson, and Hunter Holland; and three sisters: Claudine Cossey, Sandra Bowles, and Teresa Richardson. Mrs. Robbins was born and raised in Savannah, TN and moved to the Memphis area when she was about 30 years old. She had a green thumb and enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and scratch-off tickets in her free time. One of her greatest joys was being “Memaw” to her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 12:30-2:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will be at Twin Oaks Cemetery.
