She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Jefferson and Dona Frances Bumpus.
She was a longtime member of Open Door Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.
Peggy will be missed by her family that she dearly loved. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Billy Waldrop, daughter, Tammy (Mike) Hale, son Neil Waldrop, sisters Shirley McKelvey and Janie Jones, brother Lowell Bumpus, grandchildren Nikki Waldrop, Austin Waldrop, Jacob Hale and Jesse Hale.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 5:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2014 at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Open Door Baptist Church in Potts Camp, MS. Burial to follow at Autumn Woods Cemetery.
