He was born February 2, 1944 in Colbert County Alabama. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Karen, daughters Carla (Randall) Hinote, Deanna Dover, Wendy Mitchell, 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild (3 more on the way). He retired from Memphis Light Gas and Water after 30 years and had a roofing contracting business for almost 50 years. He loved his family, the church, fishing and the Alabama Crimson Tide. “Roll Tide!”
He was a member of Highland Church of Christ and thoroughly enjoyed helping with the TLC class fish fry.
