Ralph “Snookey” Hudspeth, 80, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. He was born on November 27, 1945, to the late John and Ruth Hudspeth in Holly Springs, MS. Ralph, better known to most folks as "Snookey," was a retired truck driver who never cared much for sitting still. He loved being outdoors and was happiest when he was out on the water, whether he was fishing, boating, or just enjoying the day. He enjoyed the simple things in life and treasured the time he spent with family and friends. Snookey was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Hudspeth; his son, Ralph Harmon; his grandson, Dusty Harper, and his brother, Monty Hudspeth. He leaves behind three children, Sue Glover (DeWayne), Lisa Holcomb (Terry), John Hudspeth, and a sister, Emily Hudspeth. Snookey also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will be held at Blocker Cemetery at a later date.
