It’s been a while since I learned of Chuck’s passing. After all the years I still think of him all the time. He was a good man a good friend.and a great mentor I miss him terribly.

Chuck was such an incredible mentor to me. I worked with both he and Lori at the Peppermill back in the 80's/early 90's. I last saw him in 97 at the Grand in Tunica. Sorry this is late, but I just saw this today. What a truly incredible man!

I was Chuck's College roommate at West Chester University. We played soccer together and were great friends throughout those college years. He was also in my wedding when I married on June 3, 1967. We were inducted into the Friars organization while in college and that made us 'brothers' forever. Over the years, we kept in touch, but not enough. He was a great friend and kind human being. I called the Fitzgerald casino to get in touch with him today, 3/22/18 and they told me he had passed away. It was a very sad phone call and I was deeply saddened.  I know that he had a great work ethic and drive to succeed. It was obvious that he accomplished this at his work and as a husband and father. My deepest sympathy to his wife Lori and his children. I was so sorry to hear about Chuck's passing.  I was fortunate to work with him at the Peppermill during a time we all referred to as the "Camelot Days."  Chuck was a huge part of that.  He was an intelligent, kind and creative leader.  He was one of my mentors and friends.  Lori, I know how hard it is to lose someone you love.  My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Chuck's passing is a loss to all of us in the gaming industry.  His kindness and commitment to others was extremely refreshing.  Chuck was not only a colleague, but a friend to many of us.  He will live on in our memories.

Chuck surrounded himself with kind, generous, warm and passionate people. Not because Chuck looked for them, but because when you were around Chuck, you just naturally became one. He made everyone feel better about themselves and their souls.

His favorite three words, “I Love it,” would just naturally echo from him anytime you brought a thought, idea or suggestion to him. He would then tirelessly and assiduously help you execute it, giving you full credit all along the way.

His warm smile and soft-spoken distinctive voice made him so approachable, but his quiet demeanor, expressive eyes and caring advice made you want to come back.

He was always the first to arrive and the last to leave. Now, my good friend, my sweet brother-in-law, it's your chance to rest. You've touched so many in such a short period of time, just rest…we're all still in awe of you and always will be.

Sorry to hear about Chuck's passing.  Certainly a shocker.  I worked closely Chuck at Grand Casino and had many meetrings with him.  So many fond memories.....from the Grand Opening of Cottonwood's to a trip he and I took to Nashville.  Will miss you, Chuck!

Chuck Miller was one of the finest and most remarkable human beings I've ever known.  He was and will always remain an inspiration to me in setting the highest standards of integrity, loyalty, intelligence, work, friendship, dependability, kindness, intelligence, truth, understanding and impeccability in all things under all circumstances.  We were friends and companions at work for many years and always personal and business references for each other after that. Chuck  was and always will be "the best" to me and everyone who knew him at all.  I am so sorry Lori.  I love you both and have never had a week go by during all these years that I haven't thought of Chuck and you and your wonderful family. I have loved you from day one.  We secretly dated at the Pepper mill.  People caught on and we had to finally fess up.  That is when you got down on one knee and proposed in front of your mother, brother, and with your sister on the phone.  You gave me such a gift of three beautiful children, but what won my heart was when you wanted to be Justin's dad and adopted him.  You should the kids what true integrity means.  Doing the right thing even when no one is looking.  And if you fall short, always tell the truth.  You taught me to love without question.  Your heart, soul, and being will be missed by your family.  Rest now my beloved.

Never put off visiting a loved one. I have been telling myself for years that I need to get down to see my uncle and I put it off too long. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to reconnect (even if it was via phone calls and texting) with an uncle who I shared so many wonderful memories. Todd put it into words perfectly. He always wanted to know about you. The week we spent in Reno in the late 80's will forever be one of the most special weeks of my life, especially considering it was time spent with much loved family, including three very special people who are no longer with us. RIP Uncle Chuck, I am glad your suffering is over.

Although I have not seen him since going to Reno in 1982, to this day I consider Chuck as my best friend. He came to visit me in Vegas in 1970. We were roommates for years. Last time I talked to him was 1988 and he wanted to visit me in Hawaii, but he was afraid he might not leave Hawaii as was the case in Nevada. I just retired and finding Chuck was on my 'Bucket List' - I love and miss you brother!

Uncle Chuck was the most charismatic man I have ever known. He lit up every room he walked into. He never talked about himself. He only wanted to know about me. I will forever treasure the times we spent together.

So sorry for your loss, JL, prayers for you and your family. I'm sure he was a great man like you.

Hard to put into words the sadness of losing an old dear friend. So many wonderful memories from skipping class at high school to build a snowman to silly card games with Jim. He was one of a kind. You are loved Chuck and you will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Chuck was an amazing and intimidating mystery to me, who time and again proved to me that his care and love for his family was where that intensity came from that I found so intimidating. The power of his personality could not be denied and I always found myself in awe of his character, generosity, and genuine curiosity he held for others. Justin, being one of my best friends and someone I consider a brother, had a special man for a father whom I was lucky to know. Particularly, when he took Justin and all of us ragtag friends out to play paintball, I had the time of my life! I may or may not have shot Chuck right in the noggin with a paintball and almost peed my pants when I did, but he just laughed and smiled and gave me a thumbs up which I will never forget. He was an incredible and powerful personality whom I personally will miss, but am forever grateful for being one of the lucky people who had the pleasure of his company and influence. With all the love I posses, my heart is with the Millers. Xo

While Chuck had the natural ability to win the love and respect of practically everyone he had ever met, he was terrible at home improvement projects (just ask Lori) and anything that had to do with a tractor (just ask Brandon)  or pool maintenance of any kind (just ask anyone)! While we will miss a laugh over his attempts at being handy around the house, we will miss his kindness, generosity and friendship most of all. We were blessed to know him. His precious family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Chuck was such a nice and generous man. I had the honor of coaching his daughter Jayleen while she was on the dance team in high school and the whole family was a joy to work with during Jayleens time on the team. Chuck loved his family very much and any time I spoke to him he thanked me over and over for taking good care of his Jayleen while coaching her. One night my husband and I went to watch a show at the casinos and we ran into him there and he was so generous. He got us better seats and VIP passes and we got to go back stage... all because he was thankful for the work I did for his daughter. It was very thoughtful. Just in the short time that I knew him I could tell what a great man he was and I know that he will be very dearly missed. I will be praying for his family and friends during this difficult time.
