Hey bub, today is 14 months without you.  Life isn't the same and never will be. We all miss you so much. I know you're watching over everyone. Take extra care of Zach for me. I love you, bub. You're always on my mind and in my heart.

Hey bub, we're coming up on a whole year without you. One whole year of not hearing your voice or seeing your face. It's a gut-wrenching pain that stays with me. Always. You were my rebel child. My fearless child and my child that needed me the most. I talk about you every single day. Your Nana and I can talk for hours at a time about you.  I know why you loved her so much. She's been my rock since you left. I feel closer to you when I'm with or talking to her. We love and miss you so much it hurts. Zach sure misses you. He doesn't talk much about it, but you know Zach - he's not much pf a talker and especially about his feelings. I hear JJ is doing well. James is keeping an eye on him for you.  Your dad, well, he's a mess. He tries to hold it together, but some days get the best of him. None of us are the same since you left. You took a big part of all of us with you. It's almost like a part of us died, too. I know I'll see you again one day and I cannot wait for that hug and to hear you call me "Ape" again. I love you with all my heart, Lil Bud.

We really enjoyed  watching Sam and our son Kyle play football together.  Despite Sam’s smaller stature, he was a fearless competitor and was never scared to lay a hit.  We are saddened with the news of his passing.  Kyle wishes he could be here for the visitation and we will all be thinking of his family during this difficult time.   

There are no words anyone can say to provide comfort during this tragic  time.  All anyone can do is be there and although I haven't seen yall in years, I am here if you need me.   I pray to God for comfort and healing and strength for all of you.  Each and everyone of you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Much Love Gina Dakin Crim
