

Sandra Carol Farrow, 77, of Lewisburg, MS, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 17, 1948, in Hernando, Mississippi, to Willie and Mary Forte.
She is survived by her daughters Melanie Hudson (James), and Rhonda Hopkins (Rickie) and sister Sharon Forte
A proud grandmother, Sandra adored her grandchildren—Jonathan Mercer, Rockeal Cornelius, Justin Hudson, Jeremy Cornelius, Tesa Woods, Jennifer McAlister, Kelsee Woods, and Destin (Buck) Wages. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren; Lilly, Keagen, Khloe, Abbie, Clayton, Darla, Emma, Billie Jean, Kylee, Kellianna, Jessa'Lee, and Levi. Additionally, she leaves behind two beloved aunts, Nancy Thomas and Mary Wall and several nieces and nephews.
Sandra was the eldest of four sisters, a role she embraced wholeheartedly—she loved bossing her sisters around. She lived a life full of love and faith, A member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Lewisburg.
Her father’s military service took their family to many places, including two years in Scotland, where she attended school. She had a deep appreciation for music, especially Rock & Roll, and she loved to dance. She could also crochet beautifully without the need for a pattern, a skill admired by many.
Sandra had a heart that knew no bounds—her home was always open to those in need. With an open-door policy, she welcomed anyone who needed a place to stay, always offering a couch and a warm meal. But above all, she was a grandmother to all, and it was a title she wore with the utmost pride and joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willie & Mary, husband Robert Farrow, daughters Marylin Wood and Angela Mercer, her sister Marilyn and Baby sister Angela, and her granddaughter Jessica Farrow.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held on March 14th at Brantley Funeral home in Olive Branch, MS Visitation at 1pm. Service at 2pm. Burial at Lebanon Cemetery.
Sandra’s warmth, love, and kindness will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
