Tenny Ruth Bishop, 89, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Bishop; parents, Howard and Carrie Flaherty; and sister, Glenda Dodson. She is survived by her two sons, Don Bishop(Teresa) and Ron Bishop(Dianne); grandchildren: Vicki Martin, Donny Bishop, Kim Norris, Matthew Bishop, and Melissa Mansell; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Jane Mazer. Mrs. Bishop was a believer in Jesus Christ and was a member of Cedarview Baptist Church where she faithfully served the Lord. She loved and adored her church family. In her free time, she enjoyed flowers, birds, and cooking. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Cedarview Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 10-11 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Memorial Park Southwoods. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Cedarview Baptist Church.
