Teri was always friendly and smiling. She was a beautiful song bird. Every time she sang, the words just flowed out. The sound of her voice was like the most beautiful sounding chimes and bells you ever heard. We know she is now in the garden singing with King Jesus. May God give comfort to Matthew, Jorga, BJ, Anthony and Angie at this difficult time.

My mama was such an amazing person. She always made everyone feel cared for even if she just met you. She was the most caring, hard working, strongest, generous, and loving person I’ve ever known. Every time that she watched her grandson, my sweet Noah, we’d walk in the house and she would have a 4 course meal, toys, and his favorite tv show ready to go (even if it was 6am). No one would never leave her house empty handed or hungry. You could off-handedly mention you needed to stop at the store to grab toilet paper before going home and she would sneak off and make a little bag ready to go and hand it to you on your way out the door with toilet paper, snacks, knick knacks, you name it. She was and is such a light that I will always cherish.

Aunt Teri was a part of my life from when I was only 5 years old. I cherish the times we had going to churches singing together as a family and performing the holiday programs together at Cedarview. I remember asking her once how she found time to practice all her music and she told me she popped the cds in in the car and practiced then. I can’t think of a family occasion where she wasn’t there. She was a light in any room she was in and her smile was infectious to those of us around her. I’ll miss her, and I’m so glad I was able to know her in this life.
