

Thomas Ralph Cuthbertson, 94, of Southaven, MS passed away on May 25, 2026. Tom was born on March 29, 1932, in Smithers, WV to the late Tom and Edna Cuthbertson. His family were coal miners so as a young man, he worked in the coal mines with his dad. He then joined the United States Air Force where he served in Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Europe, Africa, North America, and South America. He retired from the Air Force as a Master SGT. He then went on to become a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed being involved with the American Legion, collecting knives, and wood working. His family was one of his greatest joys in life. He loved spending time with his daughters and his grandchildren. Tom was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Olive Branch. He will be remembered as a kind, generous man who would help anyone in need. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Fratesi Cuthbertson; sister, Mary Alice Cuthbertson; brother, Joe Cuthbertson; and brother, Robert Cuthbertson. He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie McClure (Joel) and Sheila Parr (Greg); grandchildren: Thomas Ethan McClure (Kristen), Alex McClure (Katie), Maddie Geyer (Randy), Landry Parr, and Max Parr; great-grandchildren: Bree McClure, Dak McClure, Sara McClure, Stella McClure, and Bella Lovett; and his brother, Charles Cuthbertson (Cathy).
