Olive Branch - Thomas Charles Mathews Thomas was a loving son, beloved husband, proud father, caring brother and a giving friend. He lived in Olive Branch MS and passed away March 9th, 2014. He was born March 12, 1956 in Philadelphia PA. Thomas is married to the love of his life Cindy Mathews and has a wonderful son Todd Mathews who is a senior student at Mississippi State University. Thomas was the son of the late Thomas Franklin Mathews and Joan Ann Mathews of Milton Florida. He leaves behind 4 brothers Charles Mathews, Wes Mathews (Jan), David Mathews (Brenda) and Joel Mathews (Lisa) and his sister Anna Mann (Daren) and numerous loving and caring nieces and nephews. Thomas was from a military family and he served our country in the US Navy. He served on several ships to include the USS Nimitz Carrier. Thomas always made his family come first in his life and he loved camping, fishing and hunting activities. He also enjoyed cooking and was usually first on your list of invitees as the cook (especially BBQ’s).
