He attended Pleasant Grove High School, The University of Alabama and The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was a member of the SEC Championship Football Team from the University of Alabama in 1990. He loved Alabama football and was a fan all of his life. One of his fondest memories of Alabama Football was the day he met Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant at Legion Field in Birmingham. He was a walk-on player at the university. He made the team and was a member of the scout (practice) squad that helped prepare the starters for each week’s game. He was also a member of the very first division football team at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was an avid duck hunter. He spent many weekends with his dad and friends enjoying the great outdoors in Alabama and Mississippi. He always said there was nothing better than a cold, crisp morning in a duck blind with his dad, friends and his dog watching ducks land and take off in flight. He was always full of life and ready for the next adventure right around the corner. He is survived by his parents, Vernon and Pat Kreider; his sister Kimberly Kreider Crafton; his brother-in-law Dolph Crafton, his uncles Earl Kreider, Paul Kreider and Mark Kreider, his aunt Linda Kreider, cousins Matt and Evan Kreider and many friends.
