Tommy B. Maddox, more commonly known as Pa, left this earth and was embraced into our Heavenly Father’s arms on Father’s Day, June 18th, 2023. Pa is rejoicing in being reunited with his wife of 60+ years, Jeanette Lavelle Maddox, who was embraced in the arms of Jesus on May 4th, 2020. He leaves behind many beloved children, son-in-laws, grandchildren, a niece, a great granddaughter, and friends. The daughters he leaves behind are Christina Rogers and Karen Buchanan, along with his 2 son-in-laws, Donald Rogers, and Alan Buchanan. The son he leaves behind is Steve Maddox. The 3 granddaughters he leaves behind are Lauren Rogers Wages, Alana Buchanan White, and Allison Sutphin Paris. The niece he leaves behind is Teresa Fortune. The great granddaughter he leaves behind is Aela White.
Everyone that knew Pa knew that he was a goofy jokester that loved the Lord and loved his beloved Crazy Meme. Pa and Crazy Meme loved praising the Lord together at church and participating in other church-related activities. Pa and Crazy Meme also loved spending quality time with their daughters, son, son-in-laws, granddaughters, niece, and great granddaughter. The dynamic between Pa and Crazy Meme could keep anyone and everyone laughing until they cried for hours on end. Pa will be greatly missed here on earth, but we also rejoice knowing he is reunited in Heaven with his one true love, Crazy Meme, after being without her for a little over 3 years. We love you, Pa!!!
