Walter Mills Myers

Ingram’s Mill - Walter Mills Myers, 94, passed away on January 11, 2015. There will be a gathering of friends 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 14 and services will follow Thursday, January 15 at 2 p.m. all at the Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. Interment will take place in Fountainhead Cemetery in Ingram’s Mill, MS. Walter was a WWII veteran from the United States Army, a mason for 65 years with the 115th lodge, farmer and retiree from the Frisco Railroad. He was also a lifetime member of the Fountainhead Methodist Church. Walter was a loving and faithful husband that was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Marie Myers. He is survived by his three daughters, Candace Smoot, Marcia Winfield (Rusty) and Amy Pulliam; son, Walter R. Myers Sr. (Janice). He also leaves to cherish his memory his sister-in-law, Betty Ruth Sexton, 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, he also leaves many beloved cousins.
