William Neil Holcomb was born in Murray, Kentucky on January 3rd, 1937 and passed into the arms of his Lord on May 25th, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Lois, his son Terry, daughter-in-law Shonda, grandchildren Mikayla and Landry and sister-in-law Margery Link. He was preceded in death by his parents Elwood Holcomb and Clara Osborne and his brother Wayne Holcomb, all from Memphis, TN. He proudly served his country during his years in the United States Air Force where he met Lois while stationed in Denver, CO. He spent most of his career in banking and finance including voluntary probation officer and reserve police service. His main hobby was photography, but also loved spending time with his grandchildren and church family. He accepted Christ at the age of 10, taught Sunday School for many years, was ordained as a deacon over 50 years ago and served in several churches in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi. He sang with the Masters Men gospel quartet while serving at Southland Baptist Church in Memphis. Neil most definitely loved the Lord and listened to His call. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to LaBelle Haven Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS.
