William C. Hughey "Sonny"

William C. "Sonny" Hughey, 82, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away Wednesday February 13, 2019 at his home. Sonny was a member of Cedarview Baptist Church in Olive Branch. He was a retired truck driver and was the former owner of RC Mini Storage in DeWitt, AR. Sonny was preceded in death by his first wife, Nita Hayes Hughey, his second wife, Merle Harris Redding Hughey, and his sister, Mable Elizabeth Johnson. He is survived by his children, Clifton Hughey (Jennifer), of Olive Branch, MS and Ronda Hughey Golden (Ernest), of DeWitt, AR and his step-children, Judy Herrington (Buzz), Jan Broadway (Mitchell), and Keith Redding (Denise). Sonny is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday February 16, 2019 from 1pm until the funeral service begins at 2pm, all at Brantley Funeral Home of Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
