William Alvis Wilson Sr.

William Alvis Wilson, Sr., 73, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born June 21, 1953, to Fred and Doris Wilson in Marshall County, Ms. William enjoyed hunting and had a love for working on and racing cars. He was a certified mechanic with Fox Plaza, where he worked for 20 years before retiring. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time at home, where you could often find him watching his favorite TV shows. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Doris Wilson, and two brothers, Wade and Rodger Wilson. William leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Debra Wilson; his children, Alicia Renee Mills, Jason Wilson, William Alvis Wilson, Jr.; two siblings, Larry Wilson and Linda Brents. He also leaves behind four grandchildren: Amanda, Kacie, Kaylen, Wesley and a host of great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will follow at Autumn Woods Cemetery in Olive Branch, MS.
