Julius Farkas

Gyula “Julius” Farkas (1936 ~ 2014) - Julius passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the age of 78. Predeceased by wife Wanda (2009). Julius worked as a refrigeration technician for Hobart in Vancouver. He travelled extensively around the world, wrote many songs both lyrics and music, enjoyed gardening his fruit trees and grapes and spending time with his dogs and cats. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, 11 o’clock in the Chapel of Graham Funeral Home. A graveside Service will follow at the Oliver Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Cook officiating.
