Margaret Kiss

Margaret Kiss (April 27, 1917-May 16, 2012) passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, May 16, 2012 at Mariposa Gardens in her 96th year. Survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna Toth; predeceased by husband, Boldizsar Kiss, 1985; son Alexander Toth, 1988 and brothers and sisters in Hungary. Margaret spent many years as a seamstress with GWG in Edmonton, Alberta. Margaret and Boldizsar moved to Osoyoos in 1968 and was very involved with St. Anne’s Catholic Church. She was also active for many years with the Hungarian Society, an avid gardener and she loved her flowers. Prayers of the Faithful will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Osoyoos on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 7:00 o’clock. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Father David De Sousa will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10:30 o’clock with Rite of Committal at Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow in the church hall. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Desert Valley Hospice Society, PO Box 1261, Oliver, B.C.
