She was the eldest daughter of Bessie and Max Gold.
After graduating high school, Ann worked as a legal secretary for a local law firm. On November 19, 1942, at the age of 21, Ann married her husband, Albert M. Alter then serving in the U.S. Army.
Ann and Al had three sons Jerry, Larry and Michael. In 1958, Ann and Al moved to Westfield, NJ were they lived happily until 2008 when they moved to Lauderhill, Fl.
In 2010, Ann and Al moved to St. Louis so they could be closer to their three grandchildren Hadley, Ethan and Isabel.
Ann and Al were married for 68 wonderful years enjoying each other's love and companionship.
Without any hesitation, Ann would say that her three grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life.
Ann was so very grateful for her daughter-in-law, Dana, who she shared many years of love and companionship. For Ann, Dana was the daughter she never had and they enjoyed every moment together.
Ann was a joyous, vibrant, kind person who loved and cherished her family more than anything and she will be forever missed by all of us.
