Her beloved husband, Eugene Portman, passed away on November 3, 2021.
Ellen and Eugene are survived by their sons, Andrew Portman (Deborah Done) and Jason Portman; grandchildren Justin Portman (Olivia), Austin Portman, Samantha Williford, Nick Norman (Erin) and Joshua Portman; great-grandchildren Hunter and Jack Portman and Robbie and Brady Williford; former daughter-in-law Kathleen Portman; Ellen’s brother, Charles Lickhalter (Louanne); and Eugene’s sister-in-law, Carol Portman. Eugene is predeceased by his siblings, Geraldine Portman, Ruth Rosecan Steele, and Darwin Portman. Ellen and Eugene share many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service for Eugene will be held on Friday, November 5 at 2 p.m. at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol Cemetery, 9125 Ladue Road.
