Jerome Franklin Brasch

February 4, 1925November 17, 2020

Jerome F Brasch passed away peacefully on November 17, 2020 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of Rosalie Brasch; dear father and step-father of Leah Brasch, MD (Dan Koch), Norvell Brasch, Esq (Kathryn), Ivy Gers Chrisler and Hollie Gers Smith (Michael Smith); dear grandfather of Milton Koch, Bernard Koch, Samuel Brasch, Jacob Brasch, Benjamin Brasch, Joseph Brasch, Courtney Chrisler, Erin Chrisler, Joshua Chrisler, Ariel Furst (Timothy Mui), David Furst (Sami) and Elliott Chrisler; dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Norvell Brasch (late Virginia); dear brother-in-law of the late Martin Klayman, Evelyn (Tami) Klayman, and the late Lois Shear; dear uncle to John Brasch (Beatty) and Robert Brasch (Mimi).

Jerome lived a long and fruitful life filled with family, music and philanthropy. Jerome was proud of the business that he created, but he also gave generously of his time to his congregation (United Hebrew), his alma mater (Washington University) and his country (US Navy 1944-1946). Anyone who visited his home was treated to a delightful concert of his theater organ and sing-alongs to Broadway musical tunes. And anyone who knew him, understood his generosity, kindness and love of life and family.

A private service will be held at New Mt. Sinai Cemetery on November 20. Memorial contributions preferred to the charity of your choice.

I began working at Brasch Manufacturing - (Paris) in November 2004, upon meeting Mr. Brasch I was touched on what a kind and wonderful man he was, every time he would visit our plant he would always stop and speak to me and ask how my family and myself were doing. My condolences to the family.
