Joe was predeceased by his parents, Morris and Elsie Glik, his first wife, Gussie Kapp Glik, and his grandson Charles J. Glik.
Upon his father’s premature death, Joe assumed management of The Glik Company, expanding the retail clothing operation from one store to what now has more than 60 locations in 10 states, still family-owned and operated after 120 years. He was a business leader, philanthropist, and an avid golfer and fisherman. Joe loved people and never met a stranger. His family, though, was his favorite pastime and greatest achievement in a life of many accomplishments. He was a loyal and supportive friend to many.
