Beloved wife of the late Sidney Katz and the late Irvin Dubinsky; dear mother and mother-in-law Donna Ray (Jonathan), Dianne Esbrook (the late Robert), Jill Stone (Jim) and Jamie Dubinsky Musgrove (Bill); dear step-mother of Michael Katz; dear grandmother of Courtney Broka (Chad), Whitney Waite (Tim), Leslie Esbrook, Ross Esbrook (Hannah), Mindy Tappan (Kevin), Zach Stone and Michael Musgrove (Melissa); dear great-grandmother of 7; dear daughter of the late Irving and the late Sophie Lending; dear sister and sister-in-law of June Mailman, the late Ron Lending (Elaine) and Gaye Alperin (the late Roger); our dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Mrs. Lending was the former director of Congregation Temple Israel Nursery School, Religious School and Hebrew School for more than 20 years, an active volunteer at the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry and a docent at the St Louis Holocaust Museum and Learning Center.

Visitation Monday, January 13th, 11:30 AM at BERGER MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 9430 Olive Blvd, followed by funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Private family interment. Memorial contributions preferred to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry or the St. Louis Holocaust Museum and Learning Center.

Joy was one of the greatest people I ever knew and a part of her will always be in my heart. I miss her very much. Her kindness devotion and love to Sidney Katz will never be forgotten. Joy..... A true giant among all humans!
