Preceded in death by parents, Mac and Cleone Penwell and infant brother, William Penwell.
Survived by loving wife of 46 years, Lois (Gerrard) Penwell; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Matt Fryzek; son, Mark Penwell; grandchildren, Chris and Katelyn Fryzek, all of Omaha; brother, Robert Penwell and wife Antoinette, Wilmington, NC, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graduate of UNO. Retired from National Indemnity Company, A Berkshire Hathaway Company. Al was an avid Husker Fan. He enjoyed traveling, playing golf and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

FUNERAL SERVICES Friday at 11am at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 11810 Burke Street, 68154.
Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
