God called home a wonderful, loving, giving, caring, thoughtful, selfless, talented & spirited soul on April 16, 2018. It was unexpected and has left a big hole and void in the lives of those who loved her, especially her two sons Louie (15), Paul (13), husband David and father Darwin. Also her brother and sister-in-law (Brett and Sara), nephew's Gavin, Garrett & Bodie. Grandma Marion, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. She joined her mother, Claudia in heaven. Alissa would do anything to turn your day around. Alissa was a kind, gentle and beautiful woman. She always put others before herself and did the most thoughtful things to let you know she truly cared. We all loved her so very much and will miss her beyond comprehension.

Alissa Dawn Cass

have a memory or condolence to add?

My first memory of Alissa is from 10th grade when I was brand new to our high school. I didn't know anyone. She took me aside and told me that we were officially friends because she was friends with my sister and that qualifies me to be her friend. I am so grateful that our paths crossed.

I am so sad that she is no longer here with us. She will always have a space in my heart.

Alissa never missed the opportunity to say "I love you" and often signed her notes and e-mails with the words "until soon".

Until soon, Alissa

I grew up with Alissa. We lost touch over the years, but your family was so much a part of my youth. Prayers and love!

Oh, how I’ll miss you! I keep reading over the last texts and I just can’t believe that’s the end. We weren’t finished. Never imagined we’d lose you like this, it is such a painful blow. I will be forever grateful to have known you, dear Alissa. It was an honor to be your sister. ❤️
