He retired from the Omaha Police department after 30 years. He served for over 11 years in the Navy Reserves. Preceded in death by parents, Amos and Elizabeth; sister, Joyce. Survived by wife, Dolores; daughters, Diana (Marc) Gordon, Karen (Stan) Bullard, Kathy (Patrick) Powers and Linda (Matt) Schwartz; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; many family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society or Prairie Lane Church. VISITATION Friday, August 17, 2018 from 5-8pm. FUNERAL SERVICE Saturday 10am all at Westlawn Hillcrest. INTERMENT Westlawn Hillcrest Memorial Park
