Barbara Wilson passed on March 14, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born in Omaha, NE to Catherine and Edward Ojeski. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and other relatives. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Michael Wilson; her children, Chris Gess (Joseph), Nancy Hintz (Michael), Susan Wilson; grandchildren, Nicole Loop (Jeffrey), Tyler Gess (Bryleigh); and great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Alora Loop. Barbara left this world with her family by her side.
Barbara committed her life to raising and supporting her family by being a stay-at-home mom for 20 years. Later, she pursued a career as a water aerobics instructor. Barbara was deeply committed to her Christian faith, always following the Lord Jesus Christ.
Visitation will take place Sunday, March 22, 2-4 p.m. at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Monday, March 23 at 10 a.m. at King of Kings Church, 11615 I St., Omaha, NE 68137. Burial will follow at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
