Preceded in death by husband, Gordon A. "Gordie" Johnston; and parents, Dr. Stephen P. and Mildred Visek. Survived by daughter, Debora Halvorson, Belleair, FL; son, David Johnston, Belleair; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen P. and Carolyn Visek, St. Charles, MO; grandson, Ryan Halvorson, Belleair; and seven nieces and nephews. Carrie was born in Omaha and was a graduate of Omaha Central High School and Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. In 2005 she moved to Largo, Florida where she passed away peacefully.
