Bob, i don't know if you will get this at such a late date. I'm embarrassed that I'm only now finding out about the passing of the wonderful woman who was your wife and my friend if only in the virtual world. I have a blog called I HAVE CAT and Carolyn was so lovely in always posting comments and sending me the most thoughtful cards around each holiday. Particularly meaningful given I'm single and live in NYC which can often be a very lonely and cold place. Her cards and gifts were always unexpected acts of kindness that brightened my day, my week - my month! I wish I had gotten to know her better. I received a card from her on Valentines and sent her a message thanking her but did not hear back...I tried emailing but for some reason checking her Fb page did not occur to me until today. Bob, My deepest sympathy to you.  Carolyn was a wonderful friend even though we only met through Facebook.  She always remembered my birthday and special occasions and every once in a while a little gift would arrive from her.  She was a wonderful friend and will be very much missed.  My prayers and my sympathy to you and yours.

Carolyn Schellhardt, Has herself gone to the Heavens Rainbow....I know she is there with my Mom, with all the animals who ever were, loved ones, this dear person who blessed each person who knew her, all animals, loving especially Cats, I know her Kitty Misses her terribly. It is with a sad heart that I learned of Carolyn's passing. I cherish the memories of her and all of the fun times you & Carolyn, and Doug & I shared in our early years of marriage and parenthood....what fun times we had.  I will always remember Carolyn's wonderful laugh, her delightful wit and humor.  I especially remember the hospital stay Carolyn and I shared after giving birth to our babies (your Christine - April 19 and Doug's & my Patrick - April 20, 1963).  
May warm, loving memories comfort you and Christine at this difficult time.
