Charles (Chuck) served in the US Army from 1951-1959 during the Korean War. He was extremely proud of his service; he loved his country and being a Veteran. He was selected for the Honor Flight to Washington DC which he was humbled by the experience.
His entire career was in the auto industry where he co-owned ABC Auto, then was Service Manager for multiple dealerships in Omaha. After retiring, he would continue working on cars and small engines up to 2 weeks before his passing.
His favorite hobby was bowling. Since the 1950’s he was on many leagues, at least two a week all year long. Sadly, he never bowled that perfect game, the 10 pin was always "standing" in the way.
Chuck was a friend to all, always quick to jump in to help strangers. His loves were God, Country, his family and friends and that love and friendship was returned to him
