Cindy Marie Mesenbrink

​Cindy Marie Mesenbrink, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 15th, 2026. Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, on November 16, 1964, Cindy brought warmth, laughter, and an unmatched devotion to her family throughout her life.

​She was the daughter of David L. Richards and Norma I. Richards, who instilled in her the deep family values that she carried forward every day. Cindy’s greatest joy was her family.

​Cindy is survived by her devoted spouse, Kevin Ferrin, who walked by her side through life's journey. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, who were her pride and joy: Tiffanni Monahan (Dan), Lindsay McSorley (Bryan), Sarah Richards (Dagon), and Michael Mesenbrink (Kaelie). She is also survived by her loving stepchildren, Brandon Ferrin, Travis Ferrin, Shane Ferrin, and Kassie Castillo (David).

​She was the proudest grandmother to thirteen grandchildren, each of whom held a special piece of her heart: Emma Monahan, Conor Richards, Nathan Monahan, Tessa Harnett, Blake Harnett, Meikah Mesenbrink, Keigan Wise, Brayden Monahan, Michael Mesenbrink, Karson Wise, Holden Mesenbrink, Jameson McSorley, and Kinsley Monahan.

​Cindy is also survived by her loving siblings, David Richards, Billy Richards (Julie), Jimbo Richards, and Donna Miller, as well as a large circle of extended family and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

​Her kind spirit, bright smile, and the fierce love she had for her family will never be forgotten. She lives on in the hearts of everyone who was blessed to know her.

Visitation will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, on July 20, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and the Funeral Service will take place at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, on July 21, 2026, at 10:00 am.
