Darlene L Stringberg

illnesses. Darlene was born in Kansas City, MO, the older of two daughters of Helen and Louis Steiner.

She married John Snyder and within 4 years had three boys, John, Steve and Jim. Early in her life she

was a popular singer with local bands. She went on to manage a large apartment complex in Kansas City

where she met and married Larry Stringberg. Darlene was an accomplished artist specializing in oil

landscape and animal paintings. Darlene was dedicated to God and spent much of her focus on bible

studies, church friends, her family and her beloved dog, Scamp. Darlene leaves behind her sons John Snyder (Lori), Steve Snyder (Artie) and Jim Snyder; grandchildren Jessica Stock (Travis), Sydney Omo (Josh), Erik Dodge (Keristiena), Danielle Snyder, Dylan Snyder, Chris Snyder, James Snyder, Nicole Snyder, Stephen Snyder (deceased); great grandchildren Alexis, Jenna and Carson Staiert, Isaac and Isabella Markowitz, Alexia and Max Dodge; nieces Chris Leslie and Cindy McQuery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 4th from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. The service will follow at

3:00 PM at Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home.
