Deloris was a wonderful and caring sister.  We enjoyed when she came to Texas and our trips to Colorado and Seattle Washington.  We loved her dearly.  We have many fond memories.  She will be greatly missed by her Brother and Sister-in-law.

My deepest sympathies go to Darrell and Sandy for the loss of their wonderful mother.  I have beautiful memories of Aunt Deloris but one of my favorite is when she visited me in Florida for her 60th birthday celebration.  I'm going to miss the letters and phone calls we have shared through the years.  What a blessing to have had Aunt Deloris in our family.

We want to express our sympathy to Sandy and the family, but also the great hope we have that you will see your mother again.  I remember so well when walking into the lake at the state park as she was following the Lord in baptism, a very large carp was swimming just a few feet in front of us when she asked me, "There aren't any fish in this lake, are there." Darryl and Sandra, I am so sorry for your loss of your mother, and our beloved Aunt Dodo (loved that nickname)! She was such a great lady and Aunt to all of us cousins, she will be greatly missed! Prayers to you and family at this time.

My heartfelt sympathy to all of you in Deloris's family.  She was a very special cousin to me even though the miles separated us from seeing each other very often.  I spoke with her recently and know she was discouraged and ready for the Lord to take her home.  She is in a much better place and free from pain.  You are in my thoughts and prayers as the Lord walks you through this time of loss. Blessings to you all.

I have some great memories of Aunt Deloris and my cousins when I stayed with them during the summers of the 1950s.  She always had a smile and treated me like her own children.  I am glad I had the opportunity to know her.      Roy Newby
