I can remember when I would go to your moms house with your cousin Fred with our son DreChaun.   Still hard to believe, but I know God had a better plan for you.. you are with your mom now... rest easy..

Desi, I know we haven’t seen each other in years, but I do know that you were always such a wonderful friend to everyone who came into contact with you! Always there helping others and being such a great and genuine guy. May you truly Rest In Peace and May god bless you forever and always.

Wow man its crazy I haven't seen you in forever then there you was at Bill's funeral. Just always remind me this gentle gaint always smiling.  Then I seen your boys there and how handsome they are and how much they look like you.  As time goes by people drift apart so there are periods where  you lose touch but even after months or probably even a year of no contact doesn't make it easier.      One of my fondest memories is when we took our Grandma Cola's car. Diving around South O and downtown. I couldn't have been more than 10 or 12. Driving around laying the seats down pretending we were cholos. Honking the horn at random people and cracking jokes. 

Working on projects around my mom's house will never be the same. You have positively impacted me always to be crafty and handy. I am going to miss joking about dumb things.  You will be missed everyday. 

Tell next time we meet. Your an angel now. RIP Desi.

 I am so sorry nobody was there with you as you took your last breath. I would do anything to go back and do things different. Not only was you my brother you was my best friend. We were always there for each other. Whenever I needed something you would come running or vice versa. Even though I didn't get a chance to tell you I am so proud of you. You was really changing your life around. 

I miss you brother. I know you know how much I love you. We told each other every time we talked or seen each other.

  Its gonna be hard not to miss you when i go to Valero. Everytime i see a Saturn ill think of you. When i smell a campfire it reminds me of long winter nights coming to visit you. You were love by everyone because you were a genuinely a good guy. Always had respect for me and never judged. You took care of everyone when able to. Your always gonna be in my thoughts and will stay in my prayers. Until we meet again

Man I can't believe my best friend is gone.  I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you.  You were the greatest friend I've ever had and my heart hurts now that you're gone and we will never laugh at stupid stuff anymore together,  help each other fix our cars, go to the junk yard and forget what we were looking for. All of my earliest memories include you in one way or another. Our little squad was always together. Looking back you did so much for me that can’t be put into words. You were my hero growing up and I’m so glad I told you that a couple years ago. I hope you know how proud I am of you for everything you’d been doing lately. 

I can’t help but look back at my childhood and smile and a big part of that was because of you. I’m forever grateful of our time together.
