

Age 82. On September 28th he went to meet his Heavenly Father, to whom he has promised to keep the lights in Heaven shining brightly.
After graduating from Technical High School he served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict aboard the U.S.S. San Pablo. Returning to Omaha he joined the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 22 and worked 37 years as an electrician.
Charter member of Mary Our Queen Catholic Church; Men’s Club, Perpetual Adoration Society, and Knights of Columbus.
Preceded in death by parents Charles and Marguerite, wife Shirley, and brother Ronald. Survived by wife Evelyn and sons Richard (Mary Bridgett), Tom (Vickie), and Bruce (Joanne); grandchildren Bridgett, Justin, Rebecca, Sarah, David, Alexander and Samuel and great-granddaughter Olivia. Brothers Charlie (Mary Margaret) and Tim (Kris) and sister-in-law Mary Ann. Stepchildren Pat Janicek (Kim), Chris, Scott, and Deanne, and step-grandchildren Justin, Brittney and Brooke, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation Sunday 4-7 PM with wake service at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Mass on Monday at 10:00 AM at Mary Our Queen. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mary Our Queen Church or IBEW Local 22 Retirees. Interment Westside Hillcrest Memorial Park. Military honors by Millard AL Post 374 and VFW 8334.
