To the family of Don , what a kind and gentle man he was with that great but loving smile and kind good morning he would say. I so sorry for his passing, but I do need to tell you but how Great that he is with his heavenly father. God picks the date and time that we are to leave our earthly bodies. Don surely will be missed. I wish I could have been at the funeral but I am with my mother! Love. Dianna Amandus

Don was a great husband, father, grandparent and father in law. He brought happiness to those who knew him by just being himself. He was the kind of person that those who knew him will always remember for how he made everyone smile by just being himself. He was maybe the nicest person I ever met. He was so lucky to have met Wilma who shared these same qualities. I love you Don and me and my family will always remember what you meant to us. You were the best grandfather my girls could have ever had. We were all lucky to have known and shared so many years with you.

Dear Wilma & family, I cannot tell you how devastated our family is after hearing of Don's passing. Being your nextdoor neighbor for 40 years, we got to know you well. Don was the most caring individual and would do anything for you. I loved walking out the back door and seeing him relaxing in his chair. Wilma and family, please keep those precious memories alive. God Bless You. Sue
