I taught at Holling Heights Elementary School with Ronn.  He invited our whole teaching group over to his house for an Italian dinner on a Sunday afternoon.  His Mother and Subby would so gracious and made us feel like family.

Ronn, Teri and the rest of the Colanino family:  I learned about your mom's passing too late to attend the Visitation or the Service.  I deeply regret that as I would have liked to join you in honoring her and remembering her life.  She was always so welcoming and kind to me.  She made me feel like a part of the family. Gay is my cousin. Her father, Kenneth Jackson is my mother Melvadean Jackson Howell's brother.  I have fond memories of our 5 years in Nebraska until our family moved to California now spanning 81 years.  We visited there, as well as she and Subby visited us. She was filled to the brim with kindness, compassion and love for family. Her greatest treasure would be her children and grandchildren. She endured many health concerns these past years and lived graciously without complaining. She is a treasured friend and will be missed but never forgotten. God Bless her many family members.
