Ed was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1944. After graduating from Omaha North High School, Ed enlisted in the Army where he served as an Electronics Instructor. After leaving the Army, Ed worked for OPPD for 33 years in System Protection, retiring in 2001. In retirement Ed owned and operated Hatfield’s Corner Tavern alongside his wife Sharon.
Preceded in death by; parents Edward H. (Dorthy) and Maxine Kinnaman; grandson, Todd “TJ” Hatfield; mother-in-law, Betty Mactier.
Survived by wife, Sharon; sons, Todd (Rita) and David (Mikki); daughter, Tavi Daberkow (Doug); grandchildren, Rusty and Derick Shea, Shane, Pyper Roseberry, Max, Tye, Tug, Jack Daberkow, Andrew, and Amelia; and sister, Nona Pittman.

Visitation will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Edward will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery in a private burial ceremony.
