Omaha. Preceded in death by Spouse, Earl H. Barkhurst Sr; parents, Donald & Adeline Osborn, sister, Shirley Goodwin, brother, Ralph Osborn.
Survived by sisters, Beatrice (Grafton) Laughlin, LaVonne Buman, daughter and son-in-law, Teri and Donald Engstrom; son, Earl H Barkhurst, Jr;
daughter, Elaine Barkhurst; grandchildren, Melissa and Daniel Preister, Donald and Sarah Engstrom III, William & Nicole Engstrom, Daniel Engstrom,
Devin and Brittany Moore, Heather and SSG Stephan Northcut, Nicholaus Barkhurst, Dannielle Barkhurst; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or Donor’s choice.
A visitation for Ellen will be held Friday, July 22, 2022, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM.
Ellen will be laid to rest in West Lawn/Hilcrest Memorial Pk, 5701 Center St, Omaha, NE 68106.
Serving as pallbearers are SSG. Stephan Northcut, Donald Engstrom III, William Engstrom, Daniel Engstrom, Daniel Preister, Devin Moore and Nicholaus Barkhurst.
