Erland served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Hildur Carlson; sister, Doris Colton; and infant son, Gregory. Survived by his wife, June Carlson; children, Sandra (Duane) Doering, David (Kim) Carlson, and Dennis (Robin) Carlson; grandchildren, Kimberly Doering, Christopher (Rachel) Doering, Stephanie Carlson, Todd (Erin) Doering, Katelyn (Justin) Henriksen, Courtney Carlson, and Ryan Carlson; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and special friends. VISITATION 1pm followed by MEMORIAL SERVICE at 2pm Saturday, July 29 at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home. Memorials suggested to the family.
