

Greta was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Gertrude Luedke; siblings, Charlotte Lahs, Anna Marie Blohm, Gerhard Luedke, and William Luedke; nephew, Joseph "Joe" Peluso.
Those left to cherish Greta's memory include her siblings, Egon (Rose) Luedke, Helga Peluso, and Gerda "Susie" Williams; nephews, Lloyd Williams II, Brian Williams, Scott Luedke, David Luedke, Gary (Laura) Luedke, Gary Luedke, Walter Peluso, Walter Lahs, Gerhard Lahs, and Harry Lahs; nieces, Linda Mathis, Patricia "Trish" Worstell, Leila (Stan) Saizan, and Rosemarie (Jim) Matza; great-nephews, Peyton Williams and Walter Gene Lahs; great-niece, Kaylene (Joshua) Jones; many other great-nephews and nieces; and great-great-niece, Scarlett Jones.
After moving from Germany to the United States at the age of 15, Greta lived in Omaha. Shortly after graduating from high school, Greta moved to Miami where she lived for almost 40 years until moving back to Omaha to care for her mother. She worked at Hy-Vee on 51st & Center as a courtesy clerk for almost 20 years.
Greta loved to go out on the town, including going to the casino where she would talk to just about anybody. Her family remembers her as being very glamorous -- she loved to get dressed up and entertain.
Greta will be laid to rest at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park at a later date -- please check back for updated service information.
