Gary Lee Ellefson, age 84 years; Born February 28,1942 and died June 29, 2026. He was born the 12th and youngest of all his siblings, to parents Richard Gerhard Ellefson and Vera M. Vitalis Ellefson in Valley City, North Dakota.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents; wife Brenda; 6 sisters and 4 brothers; and many other extended family and dear friends.
He married Brenda on May 2nd, 1970, in Omaha and is survived by his children Carin and Brian (Dayna) Ellefson; granddaughters Vivian and Faye Ellefson; and sister Lorna Hunt; along with many much-loved nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Hanscom Park United Methodist Church, 4444 Frances St., Omaha, Nebraska 68105, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 10:00 am. A Graveside Service will follow at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park at 12:15 pm.
