Mother was such a beautiful person, inside and out. My favorite memory with her was once when she wanted help cleaning out her closet.  She had so many beautiful clothes.  I remember asking her about her clothes overrunning her closet and saying, “Mother, when do you ever have time to shop for clothes?” Her reply was simple. “When I buy something, I look past fads and trends.  I buy classic styles that are always in fashion.  That’s how you build your wardrobe. It was a very specific question, but I’ve applied that answer to so many aspects of my life over the years. Thanks, Mother. We love and miss you. ❤️ 

Sister Turner,GAGA,Mother Butler and or District Missionary Butler was the most strongest , dedicated woman of God. She told you right from wrong regardless of you title or family member, rather you wanted it or not, you knew what she stood for. Right and righteous, a woman full of virtue , prayer and faith. I have so many memories to cherish in my heart.  Gone but never forgotten.

I can search the Webster’s dictionary from A to Z and I’ll never find the words to bring comfort when a family loses their Mother.  From experience I want to warn the family, with each and every situation you’ll face, you ask yourself, What Would Mother Do? You’ll ask, How Would Mother Handle This Problem? I Promise You, Every Time You’ll Hear Her Voice With The Answer Because, Your Mother, Gertrude Will Forever Be In Your Heart! 
I wish I could be there with my shoulder to give to you all! I Love You All And Your In My Prayers For Comfort And Strength! 

Aunt Gertrude, I am really going to miss our conversations and the times that we got together for the family reunions. Most of all I will never forget all yours  prayers when Tricey was injured. Mother Butler always had a ready smile or a ready hug - pre-pandemic - that was genuine and loving!  She had a sweet laugh and a sparkle in her eye that made you smile.
I got to pray with and for her and it blessed my soul! May GOD continue to watch over her family, church family and  countless love ones to give them strength.  Mother Butler will be missed! Rest in His Arms!!!

She was my second mom that I loved dearly,  the most blessed mom a son could ever have, I truly loved mama G in the way she loved her family in every category,  mom I  love you I will miss you and I will always cherish you in my heart, God has a beautiful soul in his kingdom.  I thank you God I praise you and I give you all the glory for my mama G.😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥
