Greg was preceded in death by his father, Leo Mastel; mother, Mary Lou Liekhus; step-father, Gilbert Liekhus; step-son, Todd Voss; brothers, Dan and Joe Mastel; and several step-siblings.
Those left to cherish Greg's memory include his loving wife and best friend of 26 years, Tammy Mastel; children, Camilla (Riley) Hubbell, Julie (James) Abold, and Jamie Mastel; "adopted" daughter, Jessica Crawford; granddaughter and light of his life, Mildred Johnson; "adopted" grandson, Kirk McGuire; siblings, Theresa (Marty) Peck, Joyce (Ted) Muckey, Rita Jeffs, Nathan (Kathy) Mastel, and Noah (Barb) Mastel; several step-siblings; many nieces and nephews; and many other extended family and friends.
A celebration of life for Greg will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Halleck Park - Pavillion, Halleck Park Rd, Papillion, Nebraska 68046. Some food will be provided, but please feel free to bring a side, dessert, or beverage to share. Balloon release to follow.
